Tlazolteotl Inspired Aztec Goddess
Tlazolteotl is one of the deities in the Aztec Pantheon believed to produces desires and who likewise forgives and cleanses away all sins. She is the earth goddess who grants absolution of wrongdoing through her priests. Tlazolteotl is called upon for purification of physical and moral cleansing. She is also celebrated during the Ochpaniztli Festival (meaning "sweeping, cleaning or repairing") held during the harvest season in September. The original stone art is dated 900/1521 and is currently located at the "The British Museum" London, United Kingdom.
