"Sunflowers is a mashup of the artist's love for fiber arts, using up-cycled materials, and showcasing the work of one my all time favorite artists. I am a firm believer in using all the fabric scraps, repurposing and reusing as much as possible. I wanted emulate Vincent van Gogh's use of vibrant colors and textures by capturing these dynamics through a variety of alternative materials."
