Savant- Art by Resko

Braylyn Stewart, who creates under the name Resko Art, refuses to live under the rule of societal limitations. A graduate of DuPont Manual’s visual arts program and dabbler in fine arts, Resko is classically trained, but prefers to play by his own intuition. He is a conceptual, mural and tattoo artist whose work can be seen all around the Louisville area and across the river in Indiana. 

Resko has made a practice of pushing past distractions, not allowing himself to get stuck in the grind. His art begins by “feeding his eyes,” taking in inspiration from everything around him. It could take hours or months for his brain to digest. When the time comes, all those thoughts and feelings are regurgitated onto the canvas in a wild display of shapes and color.

There is no through line in Resko art, only the drive to take in and put out thought-provoking work.
