Norman Spencer
Norman is a self taught print maker from Louisville who specializes in hand printed linocuts and woodcuts. His older work celebrates historic structures and architecture. His newer work explores more organic forms. This new series of woodblock prints was inspired by the phrase: "They tried to bury us, They didn't know we were seeds."Â
We first met Norman in 2019, captivated by his colorful sneaker print series. Soon after, Revelry discovered many more of Norman’s themes and we love showcasing each new collection of imagery that he creates. Norman has been an exhibiting artist in group shows and also has worked on outside projects with Revelry such as Downs After Dark at Churchill Downs.
