"I am an artist that is inspired by nature, always learning and trying new things.  I studied Figure Sculpting and Drawing at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My love for pottery grew a decade later while working at Louisville Metro Arts Center.  I throw on the wheel, use slabwork, and sculpt.  I always have a goal in mind of what to make but observe and react to the clay and ultimately embrace interesting outcomes and solutions that may not of been originally planned.  I am recognized by my sgraffito butterflies, sculpted frogs, life-like ladybugs, and lil critters."
