Paige Ream
Paige Ream is a Louisville, Kentucky–based fiber artist who has spent the past decade reimagining embroidery as contemporary art. Working on an intimate scale, she creates richly textured pieces inspired by her love of plants, animals, layered fabrics, and fearless color.
Taught the basics of stitching by her mother and grandmother, Paige returned to embroidery as an adult, rediscovering it as both an artistic language and a quiet refuge. The rhythm of thread through cloth became a form of meditation—a steady pulse that shapes not only her creative practice but also her inner life.
Using textured and often vintage yarns, she builds tactile worlds that feel at once nostalgic and freshly alive. Her playful cats, spirited botanicals, and exuberant patterns carry a sense of warmth and wit, inviting viewers to lean closer, notice the fibers, and discover a little joy stitched between the lines.
You can find her work at Revelry Gallery and participates in local art fairs throughout the Louisville area.
