Self-described as an “over-zealous” painter, Susan is known for her louder-than-life portraiture, as well as running her own studio and teaching oil painting classes for over two decades.
Recollections is an invitation to engage with Susan’s work intimately. Presented in salon style, the gallery will be transformed to feel like home. The walls will be filled with pieces - big and small - whose stories have captured the artist’s attention. Iconic musicians and depictions of historic events that changed the world are mingled with portrayals of horses and other emblems of the Bluegrass State.
