Revelry Gallery welcomes Often Seen Rarely Spoken Collective for their gallery show, The Long Way!

In between traveling, the Often Seen Rarely Spoken Collective has spent the last year in the studio creating a series of paintings centered around transportation- something that has played a huge role in their lives.

While the team often travels for work, they also try to soak up as much life as possible along the way, and the various methods of transportation have made the world feel smaller and more accessible. These machines have allowed the opportunity to experience different places, cultures, and ways of life that otherwise may never have been encountered.

The Long Way can mean taking the backroads. It can mean not always choosing the quickest fix. It can mean canceled flights, wrong turns, unexpected detours, and the occasional mistake that leaves you a day, a week, a month, or even a year behind schedule.

However you define it, allow these paintings to encourage you to get out there, slow down, and stay curious.

NuLu's annual summer celebration will return to the 700 & 800 blocks of East Market Street in 2026 with surf-inspired tunes, a watermelon eating contest, tie-dye station, limbo contest, putt-putt, pickleball, summer yard games, local food trucks, 80+ vendors, and a tiki bar from Crowler Catering,

NuLu Fest

For the 16th year, NuLu will host its well-known street festival, NuLu Fest, celebrating the continued growth and revitalization of Louisville’s East Market Street District.

Enjoy live music, regional micro-brewed beers, bourbons, and numerous food and retail booths by local vendors. There are activities for all ages.

The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public.

On each date, the NuLu neighborhood comes alive after hours with live music, pop-up art activations, and exclusive in-store experiences.
