About Rylee Gordon, artist Rylee Gordon is a photographer and artist from Louisville, Kentucky raised in, and by, the DIY music scene. She has worked to put the heart of Louisville at the forefront of all her work, acknowledging the inherent overlap of art, empathy, and action. In 2019 she created a short documentary about the DIY community and since then has put on fundraising shows for local grass roots organizations, designed sustainable merch for bands, and worked actively on the No Comply team. In her photographic work she hopes to capture in fragments the fever pitch and transcendence of live music that in real time is all encompassing.
