Hannah Jo Burkhart

Hannah Jo was raised in the small town of Burkesville, Ky. Her eye for art was noticed at a very young age. Hannah's love for art shined in many different areas; painting, drawing, weaving, sculpting, and dance. Her passion though, lied in painting. The multitalented artist chose to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Studio with a Painting Track at Western Kentucky University. A few of her many awards received throughout her time at WKU are: Best of show in Western Kentucky University's Annual Student Juried Show, Acceptance to attend the 2016 Jazz Education Network Conference as a "live painter," and her art was selected to feature on the front cover is "Zephyrus" , publication for Western Kentucky's English department. After graduating in 2016, Hannah married taking the last name Burkhart. Hannah now continues her own studio practice in Louisville Kentucky, including commissioned work, live event art, and giving back to the art community by offering private lessons to children who have found their passion and a love for art in their adolescence; just as she!
